You have no idea how many times I squeed and awwwed during this post. I must admit, I haven't seen much of Lewis, I miss John Thaw so much, but you have persuaded me. From your description I'd say Hathaway does have a crush on Lewis, how could he not? But Lewis is always so adorable with a woman. Dammit, I'm gonna have to go and watch all of Lewis now, aren't I? Oh well, it's hardly a hardship.

I have loved your reasons and posts and the ending... Lol!

Yea, it took a while for Hathaway to grow on me, too. But I think if one hangs around Lewis long enough some of the adorable begins to rub off.

Okay, okay, okay! I'll put these shows on my Netflix queue! You're *forcing* me to do this, you know. I take no responsibility whatsoever. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Victory!

I was fortunate and we had all the DVDs of both shows at work so was able to consume them quite quickly. Hope you have a decent Netflix account. Morse episodes come on one disc each, there are 33 of them, each 100 minutes long.

Episodes of Lewis are that long too, but they manage to stick 2 to a disc.

I've been watching a lot of other Brit mysteries like that from Netflix, one ep here, another there--Foyle's War, Lynley, etc. And I am about to put my account on hold for two months, sigh, due to travels, but maybe I can see if my library's got any? They've got a pretty good selection, I just always forget to check them out.
