While in the first half of the year I did pick-up some new fandoms in the form of Inspector Morse and its spin-off Lewis (and my new crush on Kevin Whately had me watching Auf Weidershen, Pet) they were not shows I could be actively fannish about. But I do love them. I even bought an Inspector Morse guide! Neeeeerd.

Seriously. He is utterly adorkable.

The epitome of his adorkability for me is this moment from "Cherubim and Seraphim" where Morse and Lewis are sneaking through the basement of an old manor where a rave is being held. In the cobweb-filled hallway, Lewis finds a cap. And puts it on. And has it on for the rest of the night.

Right. That's series 2 of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet done, and having already seen series 3, time to move on to series 4.

But the series 2 DVDs for Inspector Lewis have finally come in at the library, so that gets priority. But still a wait on the next set of Inspector Morse, so decided to Netflix them instead.

The family and I finally finished all of Disney's Zorro, which ended with the Wonderful World of Disney special "Auld Acquantince," in which Ricardo Montelbon plays Diego's old boyfriend from University. It was a really great, fun way to end. And alas, it had to end because Walt was all "I want to make it in color now!" but ABC was all "Fuck noes ( Read more... )
