Things I have been watching

The family and I finally finished all of Disney's Zorro, which ended with the Wonderful World of Disney special "Auld Acquantince," in which Ricardo Montelbon plays Diego's old boyfriend from University. It was a really great, fun way to end. And alas, it had to end because Walt was all "I want to make it in color now!" but ABC was all "Fuck noes!"

And negotions continued into forever, despite Zorro being one of the highest ratest shows. Stupid ABC.

To top it all off, went on to watch The Mask of Zorro which is made of so much win, that the fail of Legend of Zorro cuts that much deeper.

And of course Morse, which is a veritable Who's Who of British TV actors. There have been a couple, only a couple mind, where none of the guest stars were familiar to me. Was quite happy to see John Castle in an ep.

My impatience has led me to check-out tonight the first series of Inspector Lewis. It's okay that I haven't finished all of Morse yet, I already know that Morse dies in the end and his last words were "Thank Lewis for me." Waaaaaaah! *sob*. That crap thing is that wikipedia tells me that PBS cuts ten minutes out of each episode when they air it, and those ten minutes are not even restored for the DVDs. *beats PBS with a stick* But whatever, I loooooooooooooooove Lewis! And OMG Lewis playing cricket in "Decieved by Flight"! *squee* I never even heard the term "Geordie" until him.

lewis, morse, zorro
