The rules will have to mature, I am certain. It took us years at convert_me to reach a practical and stable set of rules.

I am responsible for the graphic look of convert_me.(background, icons, etc. Would you let me tweak a few things? I'll make a test page for your consideration. I am thinking of brighting it all up, keeping it classy and a propos.

Done on both accounts. By the way, what are you capable of doing and what aren't you capable of with only moderator status? Does moderator only allow you to deal with comments and posts made in the community?

Moderator status only gave power to approve or disapprove posts.Since we had no such feature (post approval) at convert_me, I am not really sure how that works. I could not even freeze comments or screen the tits in question.
I can do everything with maintainer status. Also, I can now tweak the look of the community.

convert_me will be celebrating 4 years in a few days and the moderation team is thinking of doing something somewhat epic. Last year we had convert_me's great evolution debate which gathered some 2000 comments and this year we hope to do a intercommunity debate.

The plan is to have a series of debates on different, relevant topics and topics would be posted every Saturday on each participating community. Users could them joins the discussions in all participating communities.

This would bring lots on new users to debate_religion just as other communities would get a lot of debate_religion users as well. you are the first we ask so we do not yet know which will be the participating communities.

All that is asked of debate_religion is the permission to post a promotional banner and to permit the posting of the topics. We hope that this benefits all participating communities and provides some good discussions. The place has been dead and I think that we could greatly benefit from this.
