My journal is friends only.

If you would like to be added to my friends list, then just comment here and add me. I have no issue with adding anyone. If a problem arises later on down the line (which I doubt will happen) then I will simply remove you (with or without warning.) It's as simple as that really. Go on, add me.

hey

I did a quick rewrite of the rules. Basically I just changed some wording and elaborated on some issues.
I am keeping some things somewhat vague in order to facilitate our task but at the same time, this will also allow for a less hands-on approach. I also suggest that we have an open post in the community where people can go request moderation. All you and I have to do is check it once a day to see if there is trouble. The post would be linked from the user info.
Change whatever you see fit to change.

Welcome to debate_religion

1. This is a religious debate community. Expect your beliefs to be challenged and criticized.

2. No personal, sexist, cultural or racial attacks are allowed. Direct insults will result in a short or long term ban, depending on the gravity of the offense.

3. Make sure that when you ask for moderation, you are not the one responsible for the situation.

4. Stay on task, speak your mind.

5. Introduce us to your religion. If a new religion is introduced, questions may be asked to find out more information on it. Be prepared to share your beliefs.

6. Deletion or screening of comments is a privilege reserved only to the moderators. If you feel that you have been unjustly attacked by another user, you are allowed to freeze comments but you must contact a moderator ASAP for an assessment of the situation. failure to do so will result in your own temporary banishment.

7. If you have a suggestion or a concern, take it to the moderators. Do not make a post on the main board.

8. Spam and obvious trolling will result in an immediate ban.

9. If you'd like to promote another community, contact the moderators before doing so.

10. LiveJournal TOS rules fully apply in this community.

11. The moderators reserve the right to change these rules without further notice. Failure to follow the rules will result in short, long or permanent bans.

These sound fine to me. I'll go ahead and add them to the profile and go ahead and make a moderation post and link it. After which, you can look at it and see if it needs any changes or anything.

I'm sorry it took so long. School semester is getting close to the end and my procrastination is seeking vengeance on me now.

That's perfectly fine. I have a full time job that often spills after hours.

The rules will have to mature, I am certain. It took us years at convert_me to reach a practical and stable set of rules.

I am responsible for the graphic look of convert_me.(background, icons, etc. Would you let me tweak a few things? I'll make a test page for your consideration. I am thinking of brighting it all up, keeping it classy and a propos.

Toootally welcome to change the graphics. This is the most unaesthetic community I've ever been a part of. I've been wanting to get rid of that icon for a long time, but I have nothing to replace it with. Haha.
