I agree almost 100% (except for Severus who is my favorite character and I really wouldn't want to change him unless it came about because Dumbledore actually took Black to task for his attempted murder of Severus and his betrayal of Lupin

I adored Snape's character when I was younger, but after I actually studied to be a teacher in university? A lot of his actions as a teacher started to make me feel extremely uncomfortable, because almost everything he does are on the list of things that you're told, up front, if you have them? Teaching might not be the field for you.
