Self-absorbed
I fully admit I can be self-absorbed -- I have been for the last hour or so I've been home. Then again that affects me, and my husband (who I warned that I was about to be self-absorbed). But that's it -- that's all my ego is is affecting ( Read more... ) -

So I was supposed to go to work today and I just feel back on my ass. I hate it when I feel sick and it just comes out of nowhere. Blargh. Sadly I can't take off tomorrow -- I've got a project due this week that I need to work on ( Read more... ) -

O.k. so I thought I was being totally original this year and said "Hey I should go back to blogging". Then I looked at my LJ and realized evidently I have this thought every January. Hello...
Yes happy happy new year! Hopefully all is well with everyone. I just had oral surgery from which I am just now recovering. But I needed to do that so it's best that it's behind me.
Still working on my novel -- trying to get that cleaned up and getting ready to submit that. Hopefully :) -
update
Well I haven't written in a few days. Work is going ok -- got dinged for surfing the internet too much. Which in and of itself isn't a problem except I sit too close to "higher ups" who might be upset I'm not devoting myself entirely to the company. 8-) I do my job when I have something to do, but when I don't have anything I should be allowed ( Read more... ) -
Things I've read while pondering stuff
So I've spent today debating whether or not atheists are more or less fervent in their beliefs than those that believe in religion due to a question a friend of mine asked me today in response to something I asked him (any religion for argument's sake -- not a cult mind you but a religion; and I'll save the religion vs. cult debate for another time ( Read more... ) -
