The thing to keep in mind is that those kids are probably thinking the same thing. There's always someone to look at at deem somehow further on life's progressive road than yourself. The key is to turn it into hope for yourself and ambition to continue your path. Comparing yourself to others is only useful when it serves a purpose of reigniting a drive in yourself.

sometimes I look at my life and I think what a wonderful job I've done. then there are other days when I can't believe what a craptastic job I've done. I dunno, I hold out hope that things will get better, I know they have to. I've been successful at so many things in life, effected so many people's lives for the better, yet I'm not nearly as close to my goal as I should be.

anyway...

thank you for your words. I've just been having a crappy time lately. I've got my boot straps in my hands and I'm pulling and tugging away. sometimes I wish I still had someone in my life to push me if you know what I mean. ;)

I know how it is, some days are better than others. It's good to take the days that aren't so great to use as inspiration to pull yourself up, which it looks like you're doing. ^_^

hah yes one word... tasha! love her to death and am soo proud of her!!! but...where the f*** did i go wrong? getting there... slowly but surely.
