So, Geoff suggests doing a sponsored 274-station tube challenge ∗ † in August in support of Red Ken's bombing victim relief fund. In general I think this is a good idea, but is it a good idea specifically?

I should probably explain why I ticked both "Yes, definitely" and "No, it's a bad idea".

I think it is a very silly idea, especially before the Tube is back up to full operational capacity, but it is also very appropriate and worthy and should be attempted. Preferably later than August, after the Piccadilly is working properly again.
