[To say that these past weeks have been difficult would be putting it far too lightly, and placing her ongoing situation into a kinder light that hardly matched the turmoil she felt. Everyone she had spoken with had acted so strangely around her that she wasn't sure what to do or what to think, leading her to avoid speaking with anyone

Uncle, how...? What in the world happened?

[So, she still thought of him as an 'uncle' did she? Quite charming indeed. Now, was this just a slip of her tongue, or had their heads been mettled around with again? Now let's see... What was the cover the Malnosso gave these so-called 'experiments' back then? Something about the forest, if he wasn't mistaken.]

Luke jerks his hand out of the water once it's bumped against - that wasn't a regular fish or a log, that was... something big. It was too forceful. He holds his hand for a few seconds, then leans over to see what's in there -
And ends up scooting back a little. Yes, he sees that giant... something in there. And while he does have his sword with him, it's... kind of intimidating to see something huge down there and not know what it is.
So he just stares warily down at the water. No peace for him today, it seems. ): ]
