Everyone she had spoken with had acted so strangely around her that she wasn't sure what to do or what to think, leading her to avoid speaking with anyone

Luceti Valley is...was...a place. An experiment of the Malnosso's. We lived there, the village, I mean. We thought we were family. We worshiped "The Great One" and had a festival every year and people did not come back from the dead.

That's a bit of what it means. To me, at least.

For a while? It was the only Luceti we knew.

Then we remembered otherwise.

...for us, it, um, the memories only lasted about ten days.

Always. Though according to others, I was gone for quite some time prior to being found several weeks ago, maybe that's another reason I remember things differently.

That, um, that would explain a great deal, actually. You were probably kidnapped by the Malnosso, and...well, they can do a great deal to alter a person's perceptions.

Could you tell me what other things have been done, at least in regard to memory perception?

What I meant to ask in what other ways have the memories of other villagers been altered by the Malnosso, aside from sharing the memories of Luceti Valley?

On such a large scale?

Nothing that I've lived through. There was something, over a year ago. Everyone being led to think they were other people. But it was, um, far less organized.

A year ago? Could you tell me more about what happened then, if it's not too much trouble?

Not very much. I wasn't around when it transpired.

It was all, um, very chaotic. Very disorganized. Everyone thought they were...different than the people they really were, somehow, to varying degrees. But there wasn't any rhyme or reason or connection to it. It was just random fluctuations in personal states and timelines.

Whereas Luceti Valley, according to what i understand, is something which was done with careful planning for a purpose in comparison. What could that possibly be? [Honestly, the more she hears about it the more it sickens her. Reality or not, no one had a right to meddle with others in such a way.]
