Meme one: So how did you start thinking about Onslaught/Skydive?

Meme two: Onslaught!

Meme One! Somewhat tl;dr, I think.

I was thinking about the Decepticons and Autobots working together against a larger threat a long time ago, and then I started thinking about ages and the man-powers of both sides, and how the Aerialbots really aren't that old and that there are only five of them against however many seekers Megatron had.

At some point, I was thinking about what would happen if the Combaticons and the Aerialbots were working together, and Onslaught discovers that this was the Autobot partly responsible for keeping five newly created jets alive agianst the Decepticon airforce, which had nearly all of Cybertron's best fliers - including Starscream.

And then he becomes fascinated in a truly Decepticon and Onslaught-like way, and Skydive is weirded out and fascinated all at the same time. Eventually, it happens.

Wooo! Yes, I can definitely see this. And Onslaught has STRATEGIES!

...man, he's totally seeming like a dirty old man in my head now. But I think he and Skydive would have a lot of fun together if they weren't, you know, on opposite sides.

And it would probably work better in a way to put the Aerials with the Combaticons rather than their usual counterparts the Stunticons--they'd be better able to strategize together and also less likely to, well, completely devolve into infighting.

I don't think it's possible for the Stunticons and Aerialbots to work together. They'd kill each other first.

Cloudy and relatively warm (40-50 degrees or so), but not dark. Then I just get sleepy.

That's good photography weather, according to my aunt who does portrait photography. When it's sunny the shadows are too harsh...or something like that. 40-50 sounds positively tropical! It's 13 F here, and they're predicting -2 by morning. I keep going out to put more blankets on top of the outside 'possums!

(a) - There was a glitch during when Dead End was given life by Vector Sigma that caused him to essentially die right after he became aware. This barely lasted for five seconds before Dead End came back to life and he doesn't remember it, but the trauma caused a glitch in his processor that makes him so unmotivated.
- He hates classical music, but he listens to it because then his teammates are more likely to leave him alone.
- He has the potential to be an extremely skilled tactitian.
(b) His insistence that everything is going to end right at that very moment can get very, very old.
(c) Dead End can be downright badass.
(d)
- Dead End has never contemplated suicide
- He's never screamed, either. Or begged.
- Even when he was starving on Charr, Dead End couldn't bring himself to drink energon straight out of another mech's lines.
- No matter what Wildrider tells you, Dead End has never sang karaoke.
- Dead End has never been the victim of a casseticon's prank.

First Aid

(a)
- Has extremely sensitive hands
- Has some degree of empathy. Not to the degree of Soundwave's telepathy, but it's still there.
- Has read every single medical text Ratchet gave him, he could find off teletran, from the local library, and from local schools.
(b) His pacifism is honestly something I would be upset with if I ever had to rely on him for protection if I was wounded.
(c) Probably the most caring person in existence

- Has never assaulted another person. For any reason.
- Has never been in a situation where he was the only thing standing between a patient and an enemy
- First Aid has never been sent to the brig
- has never had to help a woman give birth, but he really, really wants to.
- Has never truly hated anyone

(the bad part? I actually ship some of these, but I needed names, dang-it.)

- Ratchet - Mostly because Ratchet nipped that in the bud before it had a chance to really develop.

- Wheeljack - has helped put him back together far too many times.

- Was convinced he was sterile for a long time.
- Skipped the second grade, but was held back in third.
- Once broke the record for the most soda drunk in a five minute time period.

- Casey had almost had his tongue cut out once. Almost.
- For all that his guardians were dreading the day he started driving, Casey was never involved in an accident that was his fault.
- It was a private fear of his that April would realize one day that she could do so much better than him and leave. She never did.
- Casey never got the chicken-pox once in his life - but not for lack of trying.
- Casey didn't die an old man, asleep in his bed. He never got the chance.

...I am only surprised that it was just the once. Possibly he just attracts the wrong sort of bad guy for this.
