Meme two: Onslaught!

At some point, I was thinking about what would happen if the Combaticons and the Aerialbots were working together, and Onslaught discovers that this was the Autobot partly responsible for keeping five newly created jets alive agianst the Decepticon airforce, which had nearly all of Cybertron's best fliers - including Starscream.
And then he becomes fascinated in a truly Decepticon and Onslaught-like way, and Skydive is weirded out and fascinated all at the same time. Eventually, it happens.

...man, he's totally seeming like a dirty old man in my head now. But I think he and Skydive would have a lot of fun together if they weren't, you know, on opposite sides.
And it would probably work better in a way to put the Aerials with the Combaticons rather than their usual counterparts the Stunticons--they'd be better able to strategize together and also less likely to, well, completely devolve into infighting.

I don't think it's possible for the Stunticons and Aerialbots to work together. They'd kill each other first.

I am rather wondering who that leaves the Stunticons with, though. Poor Protectobots? Or perhaps they'd do better with the Autobot cars....

Technobots? Though I can't see why they would be paired. Aside from fighting, their skills seem to lean in different directions.
So, yeah, probably the other cars. The Protectobots can have the Predacons or something - guards when they're doing their work?

Hmmm, I don't know about the Predacons--they're more hunters than guards. Actually the Protectobots might work well with the Constructicons--the Protectobots can protect and the Constructicons can rebuild.

Omg, yes. Hook and First Aid will be very much like Onslaught and Skydive, I assume. Only less with the sexy and Hook will be completely aggravated by First Aid's unwillingness to make things hurt when necessary.
