Chilly as it was, agents had the tendency to spend hours on a mission in any weather, so it wasn't all that big an effort on Spin's part to get himself out and about; staying indoors too long had never been something he was all that good at. This city was bizarre and dangerous, sure, but there was an awful lot to see, all the same. Even with vanishing buildings ( ... )

Giselle heard the sound of feet coming towards her, but she was still unaware of the car as someone plowed into her and pulled her out of the street.

"Oh my!"

She was spun around and grabbed a hold of the figure that had pulled her out of the way, keeping her balance before gently straightening her skirt as he asked her if she were okay. Giselle could not help but smile as his words rhymed, and his concern was touching.

"Thank you so much. I really don't know what is going on. I was in the castle one moment, and then I was in the little garden with the sculpture. Do you know how to get back to the castle, kind stranger? I must get back, I know Edward will be worried, and we were supposed to get married today."

"Ahhhh..." He winced and rubbed at his neck. This sort of thing was already really very awkward to explain, and now it was interrupting people on their wedding day? That was just harsh. Explained the dress, though...

"This is a bit odd, but hear me through, 'fraid I've got to drop some heavy news on you." He shifted his phones on one ear, glancing off. "Wherever you're from, it's a long way you flew. Not a lot of castles around that I've viewed. Have you heard of Chicago? That's where you're moved."

"Chi-ca-go?"

Giselle put a hand to her rosy red lips as she thought about it, then smiled at Phones a bit. "Is that beyond the valley of contentment or meadows of joy? Because I can find my way back from there."

She looked around, nodding a bit. "Your Chicago is a very large place. I have never seen buildings like this before."

Sora had seen some poofy dresses before, but none so poofy as the one the girl he saw walking in the street was wearing. Wait, walking in the street? And she didn't seem to notice any of the oncoming cars that were headed right for her.

"Watch out!" Sora ran towards the woman, grabbed her and pushed her out of the street and back onto the sidewalk.

"Oh...oh my!"

A hand grabbed her and pulled her out of the street, away from those scary metal things again that always seemed to be coming for her. Giselle pressed her fists together under her chin, gasping softly as she watched them rush by while they seemed to ignore her.

"Thank you so much, kind youth." Giselle said after a moment, looking over her savior while making sure that she was still all in one piece.

She smiled at him. "Maybe you can help me. Do you know how to get back to the castle? I was on my way to the chapel when I fell down the wishing well in the gardens and ended up here. I really should get back to the castle and my wedding to Edward. I know he must be worried about me."

"You gonna be okay?" Sora said, while giving her a friendly smile, "You gotta be more careful on the roads" Though, given her style of dress, it was likely she wasn't from a place that had roads like this.

Though, when Giselle explained the situation to him, Sora's face fell, they pulled her away from her wedding? That was horrible. "I... I'm sorry, but there's no way to get back home yet," he explained, "You're stuck here."

"No way to get back home?"

Giselle looked sad for a moment, then smiled again. "Well, then Edward will come for me. I know he will. I will just be on a new adventure until he comes."

She looked around. "This is a whole new world for me to explore. My name is Giselle, what's your name?"

Vin shot over the city streets, staying above the bright lights of the Christmas decorations whenever possible. The bright lights actually providing decent enough cover from below, ruining the night vision of anybody who looked up through them. It wasn't actually her night to patrol but she'd gone out anyway, dressed in her more practical Mistborn attire of close-fitting dark clothes and her mistcloak ready and, perhaps looking for, any trouble ( ... )

"Oh! Oh my!"

Giselle was pulled out of the way just as a car nearly struck her, not only startled by the sudden whisking through the air, but at the blaring horn honking at her for being there in the first place. She was only discombobulated for a moment though as Vin put her down, straightening her dress carefully.

"Well, I was looking for the castle. Or for Edward. I know he must be so worried, I was right on the way to our wedding when I fell down into the magical well. So you see, I must get back to the castle. Can you tell me where it is, please?"

Vin folded her arms, watching as Giselle straightened out her dress. It had to be one of the poofiest, most ridiculous gowns she'd ever seen in her entire life. Well, maybe it was pretty but Vin shook the thought from her mind. She didn't wear dresses anymore nor did she have the time to be thinking about that kind of stuff.

"So you only just arrived here?" She asked, frowning as some of her frustration dissipated. Some. "Sorry but there's no castle here and no way out. You're stuck here like the rest of us."

"Oh...well then Edward will come find me." Giselle said with perfect faith in her voice. "It is always exciting to have new adventures, especially when magical wishing wells are involved. I guess I will have to explore this new world and wait for Edward to come for me."

She nodded, clasping her slender hands in front of her body. "I suppose then I shall have to find somewhere to rest my head for the night. Perhaps a meadow of daisies, or a tall tree with comfortable branches. I hear dwarves are very kind too."
