"Oh my!"
She was spun around and grabbed a hold of the figure that had pulled her out of the way, keeping her balance before gently straightening her skirt as he asked her if she were okay. Giselle could not help but smile as his words rhymed, and his concern was touching.
"Thank you so much. I really don't know what is going on. I was in the castle one moment, and then I was in the little garden with the sculpture. Do you know how to get back to the castle, kind stranger? I must get back, I know Edward will be worried, and we were supposed to get married today."

"This is a bit odd, but hear me through, 'fraid I've got to drop some heavy news on you." He shifted his phones on one ear, glancing off. "Wherever you're from, it's a long way you flew. Not a lot of castles around that I've viewed. Have you heard of Chicago? That's where you're moved."

Giselle put a hand to her rosy red lips as she thought about it, then smiled at Phones a bit. "Is that beyond the valley of contentment or meadows of joy? Because I can find my way back from there."
She looked around, nodding a bit. "Your Chicago is a very large place. I have never seen buildings like this before."

"I think it's a bit further than that, ma'am." He shook his head, the rhyme dropping out of his speech now that he was a little less stressed. "See, uh, this city's had the tendency to just sort of... grab people from all over. And no one's really sure how to get back, I'm afraid."
He gave her another look over as she looked around at the buildings. "You might be finding there are a lot of strange, new things around here."

Giselle said it with perfect trust in her prince as she made up her mind. She nodded a bit, clasping her hands together as she spun around. "I suppose I will just have a new adventure until then."
The young woman smiled at him again. "My name is Giselle. I suppose I should find somewhere to rest my head for the night. Are their any dwarves about? I hear they are particularly hospitable to young women who need a place to sleep."
Reply
"No dwarves about, per se, but the people here tend to try and make people new in the area nice and comfy. We can check in any time we like..." he decided not to finish the quote. "Call me Spin. I can show you the way back to the hotel, it ain't far."
Reply
"Oh, a hotel? What...is a hotel, Mr. Spin?" Giselle asked with wide eyes, looking curious and again completely sincere as she asked her questions. It was as if the person who plucked people out of their worlds dropped in someone who was as fresh as a new born kitten.

He gave her a lopsided smile. He was starting to get why her Music sounded quite so clear. "Ahh, it's sort of like... a place you can stay in, when you're away from home. Most people who've shown up 'round here've taken up the nearest one. You'll find much of everybody's willing to help you get used to the place."

Her smile faded a bit though. "But I am afraid I don't have anything to pay my way with. Perhaps the innkeeper's wife needs some sewing done, or if I can get some straw and a spinning wheel, I could spin some straw into gold."
She nodded at her ideas and smiled at Spin again. "What would you suggest, Mr. Spin?"

Though, when he thought about the sort of other things they had to do... He fiddled with his phones again. "Though, I'm afraid it isn't all handed out easy. This place can be awful dangerous, too, if you're not careful."
Reply
"Do you mean ogres, or giants? Or dragons? Dragons can be very frightening." She continued, nodding sagely.

Wait, he was getting distracted. "Well, see, there are a few different kinds of vampires, but some of them really look like normal people, and not all of them're bad guys. But, there's also some fairies that apparently will play some really nasty tricks on you, too, but some of them are all right. The big problem, though, are monsters that'll sometimes show up, they can be pretty scary to handle. But, er, then there's Brook, he's not a monster but he sort of looks like one, but really he's a pretty great guy..."
Could he have done any worse a job explaining this? The agent groaned and rubbed his forehead. "W-well, the point is, be careful. You never know what sort of thing might pop up..."

She smiled, and put a gentle hand to her mouth, calling out sweetly with a trill of wordless song. It was only a moment of silence afterwards, but it was then filled with the sound of pattering feet and flapping wings and they were surrounded with rats and a few stray dogs and cats, as well as some seagulls and pigeons overhead, a few puffy snow birds that never migrated as well.
Giselle looked around and smiled. "It's very important to make new friends, isn't it? Well, my friend Spin here says there are some not very nice people around the city. It would be ever so kind of you if you could keep an eye out for us while we walk to the inn. Thank you!"
The rats chittered and the couple of stray dogs barked, and the birds peeped in agreement with the sweet young woman as she smiled at Spin. "There, now we have some company!"

"W...wow," was all he could manage. "You... huh."
Giselle really was something else, but whatever that something was turned out to be pretty neat. Spin felt a grin growing on his face, and he laughed. "Just get by with a little help from your friends, mm?"

She stopped as a few of the birds returned with a cloak, though one could hardly imagine where one would find a cloak in Chicago, let alone a white cloak with lavender roses embroidered on it, but they settled it on her shoulders, fastening it around her throat with a silver clip.
"Why thank you!" Giselle said, looking even more inappropriate but quite warm as she pulled the wide hood up over her hair and settled it gently. "That is so very kind."
One of the birds landed on her outstretched hand and peeped, another on her shoulder, though none of them seemed to be doing the normal bird thing, which was to peck, or defecate where they pleased.
