Decked out in black pleather, goggles, a brown cape, with toy guns in holsters, and a very shiny lightsaber in her hands, with her own hair hidden under a red wig, she made a pretty awesome Mara Jade, if she didn't say so herself!
She just hoped Star Wars existed in this universe, or else no one was going to get it.
...Okay, she doubted anyone was going to get it, since she'd gone Extended Universe instead of anyone from the movies or Clone Wars cartoon, but still. She looked good!

Pleased with the effect Negi made his way to the party and spied Miss Kitty almost immediately. "Hello," he said, remembering to tip his hat like a real cowboy. This was going to be fun. He didn't recognize her costume...though the lightsaber stood out to him. "Ah...is that from Star Wars?"

He then noticed the guy standing with her. He sure looked awfully familiar. Like Link had met him here before. And in person, not over the network. So Link just stared at him, trying to put a name to a face
But why was this so hard? He hadn't met that many people in person so far... wait, that guy, it couldn't be.
Link was stunned speechless, and he just gaped at what he thought had to be Negi with an extremely confused look on his face, only able to squeak out a "Wha.. what?"

There was a cowboy who apparently knew her, and was talking to her. And he looked familiar. And apparently, he also looked familiar to Link. And he'd called her Miss Kitty, which meant...
"Negi? That's... some costume. This... isn't a time travel thing, is it?" She'd had that happen to friends, it totally wasn't unheard of.

Sometimes parties happened at the Order. It made him smile fondly to see all the decorations. A pang of homesickness came and went hidden behind his usual friendly smile. He recognized a few people from the network, Miss Starr and Winry. For now he'd trail the edges of the party, curious about what was supposed to happen here. Hopefully nothing as crazy as Komui's games.

He hoped.
But the fact that it was a last minute decision meant he had only a little time to put together a costume to maximize the ability for him to irritate his little brother. He thought he did pretty well.
Pulling the wooden wand from his pocket (oh that was going to be a fun one all afternoon), Thomas walked into the Blackstone's ballroom, the edge of his robe nearly brushing the Mad Hatter. He adjusted the fake glasses he was wearing and grinned at said Hatter. "Evening," he said in an eeriely accurate English accent. "You wouldn't happen to have seen any trolls around?"

"And tell me if you see the Marsh Hare." Allen said as he shuffled the cards, tossing them back into the hat. "Never on time!" He added as if he really was the Hatter from Through the Looking glass.

He watched as Allen shuffled the cards and laughed, slipping back into character, fake accent and all. "Maybe if you start the tea party, the Hare'll find his way by."

She wanted to be part of the activity, but still recognizable enough to anyone from home they could spot her. Hence her own hat and robe, as well as her book and broom in hand. The hat also gave a chance she might be seen over any crowd. Being short wasn't useful for looking around a group of people.

But as soon as Etna stepped into the hotel where the party was being held, bright red lights started going off, and Etna had to squint to see through them. "What, did I win something?" she asked aloud, putting her hands on her hips. The thought crossed her mind that maybe this was some kind of alarm, but what kind of alarm didn't have any noise alongside it?
"Oi, you," she called to the girl in the witch costume nearby. "What's going on?"

Yue adjusted her grip on her broom. She could do plenty with just this focii, and Equipping right now might be a problem. Also, she was friends with a few locals to the Magic world, which humans were not in the majority.

[she pauses when she gets closer and hears his music more distinctly. there's something familiar about it but she can't place her finger on it since it's also in a room full of a lot of other people with their own tunes]

[she focuses on the music and that combined with the feeling tips her off to something and she blinks. could he be...hmm...maybe she should test this theory first before she starts breaking baseball bats over people's heads, dressing up like a baseball player was a brilliant idea]
I hope Harry doesn't miss his own birthday party though.

But, as it had not yet been taken care of, the little Frenchman found himself peeking into an open doorway, listening to the sounds of a party of some sort coming to being inside.
He looked down at the flyer he'd pulled from a nearby lamppost. It did, indeed, seem to be the place. But what sort of party had little paper skeletons hanging about? Not that he was complaining -- Chauvelin did have an interest in the macabre.
At the very least, he'd gather more information about the strange city. If he was lucky, they'd have some food to pilfer; with 18th century currency, it was considerably difficult to buy a proper meal.

The earthbender entered the room, wondering why there was paper hanging around the room and why anyone would desecrate vegetables. The music was loud, and something entirely different to what she was used to. She walked up to a man who felt like he was wearing very fancy clothing. "So, fancy-pants, what's going on?"

Chauvelin had, at that very moment, been sampling some of the small cookies laid out on a platter. They seemed to be in the shape of bats and spiders. A strange choice, but it certainly fit the rest of the theme.
He turned, looking for the voice, only glancing down after a moment's confusion. Fancy pants?
"This is a party, young lady," he said, less irked by disrespect from a child than from an adult. "Beyond that," he shrugged, "I haven't the slightest clue."

"Well, it's a boring one. What's with the music? The party Aang threw for the students in the Fire Nation was a lot better." Sure, the party sucked in her opinion, but there was free food, so she'd be sticking around for a little longer.
