I stand in Linh's door, watching her poke at her disgusting looking breakfast and I sigh. She'd better be glad I had a halfway decent night, because this baby sitting stuff has gotten to be quite old.

"Aren't you supposed to eat that or whatever? Feed the baby you don't want?"

I avoided Linh's room for another hour after I met up with Burke just because I wasn't ready to play along with this cruel cruel game and I finally walk in, a fake smile plastered on my face. "Miss Takei, Linh, I'm sorry about the misunderstanding earlier."

God, this sucks.

I peruse my charts, separating my surgical cases from my non surgical cases, and handing the surgical ones to one of the nurses. I've taken myself off of OB for now. I pull my daughter's flushed body out of the back of the car and cradle her in my arms as I rush through the automated doors of Seattle Grace's Emergency Department.

People are rushing by me and no one even seems to notice the limp little girl in my arms. "Help! Please, someone, I need some help!"

I glance over at the little girl on the bed, and I hide a smirk. She looks ridiculous in her hospital gown with my scrub cap on her head, a surgical mask dangling under her chin, and my stethoscope around her neck.

I slide another film onto the box and point at one of the organs. "Ok, you're up. This one's for the rubber gloves."

I walk to the nurses' station and slam my charts down on the counter.

"Where are my interns?" I bark. I can't believe how angry I feel; how betrayed. Mark doesn't love me. If he did, he would never ask Meredith out. What a nightmare.

"Page Dr. Stevens, Dr. Karev, and Dr. Grey. I want them here immediately."
