Geek Girl Con is this weekend in Seattle! Jane Espenson and Gail Simone will be there, along with other media guests that I am not as familiar with. Heh. Looks like there's some very interesting panels running; anyone on my flist going?

Ergh, so hard to choose among Doctor Who, Fringe, and Veronica Mars! Especially since today is October 3 and all, which is an important date in the VMverse. But I went with Fringe because more people need to know about its awesomeness so that it continues to escape cancellation.

Hmmm. We finished Life which was a mix of the two so I think we could go either way at this point. Good to consider!

It was for Southland and Veronica Mars for me, Southland won on account of being still on the air (afaik) and I still haven't forgiven VM the entirely unsatisfactory ending (very subjective issue, obviously). But the road to dissastifaction was pretty amazing! I've heard a lot of good things about Fringe but haven't watched it yet myself, but it doesn't sound like a fandom that needs your urgent support, it's doing really well already.

I WISH I were going! I've been following Geek Girl Con on facebook, just to torture myself. So many cool guests - including Marian Call whose music I love to pieces.

Also, LIFE. ♥ I love Charlie, and I love Dani, but yeah, I can't see the love between them as being romantic at all. Strong, yes. Romantic, no.

Charlie and Dani are so awesome. That whole show is populated with amazing characters.
