So I was making my way to Delta, PA and just as I was passing a Horse and Buggy sign, Almish Paradise came blasting out of my IPod.

I am out in Chicago most of this week. When I arrived at my hotel, the desk attendant was showing me the shops around town and one caught my eye. Chipotle. CHIP-otle. Chip-OTLE. That was my first stop. Seriously, anyone who says that QDoba is equal to Chipotle is just wrong. Then I got sunglasses for my trip to Clinton tomorrow.

So, I had another first for me. I went ice skating. Some friends out in PA took me out and only one realized I hadn't been before. I skated for about an hour, only fell once, trying to avoid a munchkin. It was really cute, they give the young ones construction cones to move around the ice on, It was really neat ( Read more... )

Keep on Kicking the Devil, as it was explained to Jen and I on the way to our new home in PA. We were going in and out of radio areas quickly enough that we were just continually skipping radio stations, and I think I'll remember this acronym for a long time, right up there with the anti-vampire city in Utah. Actually, don't use TurboTax. If you must use it, use the webpage, if you buy the CD, you have to pay for efiling for federal, and efiling for state. If you use the webpage, you don't have to pay nearly as much efiling fees. This was a 50.00 dollar mistake I hope to save other people from.

For those who haven't heard, at 9:30 this morning, I am undergoing eye surgery to implant a Verisyse lens into my right eye. As this heals, I should have 20/20 vision in that eye. Have a good day!
