More update ... just for Steve ...
So I know a few of you folks can relate to this. I was told a week ago I need to come out to Warrenville Illinois to meet other project members and my boss. I should also take that time to go to a kick off meeting of a project; a valid reason. Summary of weekend. Fly to Illinois Sunday, and drive to Warrenville. Monday, spend about an hour and a half meeting people and finishing a task. Get free mug. Tuesday, drive about 3 hours for a 3 hour meeting. Stand out in the cold for an hour. Spend 3 more hours driving back. Tomorrow, spend a half day at HQ before driving to the airport and flying home. Spend 3 days at home before going to Delta and spending 2 weeks, minus weekends, there. It is actually quite fun, so far. I am meeting people, learning things, and being productive. But, imagine ... 6 hours in a car, listening to Country; sometimes with me singing. This image has been known to make strong people whimper. The plus side, I think Cold Stone is open ....
