Blacks and Jews in New York City

Can anybody point me toward good reference material on the history of blacks and Jews in New York City, from the 1950s to today, with specific focus on the 70s? I'm trolling the internet, bouncing from Wikipedia to the New Black Panthers article on the Anti-Defamation League's website to an article on Jewish Dominance and Exploitation of the Black

I don't have any good info on the topic, but there's a lot of ambivalence in terms of my own family

I don't know if what you are looking for exists. But there is the book Radical Chic & Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers by Tom Wolfe. It's about a famous incident during the times when a number rich, liberal, New Yorkers were trying to associate themselves with the most militant of black militants. The blacks assumed they were being patronized, and being used to make social points among the rich. The result was not pretty.
