This season has been full of awesome moments. I really dig the brother-vs-brother thing because we *know* it has to hurt like hell. I don't know if that makes me a bad person, but I'm enjoying the angst because they've done it well.

I totally agree that they've done the angst well. That's what sets SPN apart, I think. They lay the proper groundwork for their big emotional developments, and then it all feels very organic. I give them kudos for that.

Yeah, it's really interesting where they've taken the Sam plot. The previews make me really, really anxious to see what happens.

OH MY GOD, YES! I have totally been going on about how they sent Cas to gay camp! He'll come around though. That shit never works for too long.

That end bit where Cas was all and I certainly don't serve you... Dean had this look on his face like WTF, did he just break up with me? I didn't even know we were fucking. Has he been molesting me in my sleep? That's probably why I'm so tired.

Gay camp! I love it! That's exactly what I thought only not quite with those words. Perfect!

But yes, Dean will win his love again.

Having watched the episode several more times, I am not confident that they got caught fucking in Dean's head while he was sleeping by the brain monitors and that is why Cas got sent to gay camp, as well as why Dean is too tired to care anymore. Also, you know, Cas did just dump him right before they got in the car. Sammy is always so ME ME ME, jeesh. Dean can't be expected to get all worked up about a little addiction problem right after his boyfriend dumps him, in public, no less! Where's the sensitivity, Sam?

Hee! Yes! Gay camp, indeed. And I'm not even sure it worked at all, frankly. Castiel is brilliant at bluffing, and I got the same feeling in that kiss-off scene that I had in the dream, like Castiel was very aware that people were listening.

I don't like to think of Sam and Dean being on opposite sides I think that's why this season has been just upsetting for me. The first three seasons were about the boys against the world, but this season is about the boys against each other. Waaah!

Very cool that Castiel (or Jimmy) is going to be around next season. Yay! Castiel/Dean fic, please!

I'm hoping that the conclusion of this arc will somehow bring Sam and Dean back to the side. I mean, they're Winchesters!

I, too, am psyched that Castiel is going to be around next season. I never thought I'd have another SPN pairing besides Sam/Dean, but Dean/Castiel works for me. VERY MUCH SO.

I didn't want to mention anything until you watched. And now that you have---lovelovelove Misha in this. Dean did so have 'break-up face' when Cas was spouting the 'don't work for you' line.

I think Cas is playing it up some though, b/c in the dream he was like 'someone might hear' even with Dean's 'We're in my head!' response. So, if Dean's head isn't safe (lol!) then in front of people surely would not be safe.

Do you think Zachariah (Cas' boss, I think that's his name) is basically on Uriel's side? I mean, he did make a comment about not being happy 'wearing a human' I think 'smelly' was his adj of choice. His attitude just seemed a bit, off, towards humans.

And Anna has her grace back and *she's* visiting Dean and Sam, so I'm thinking there's more Angelic treachery afoot--she and Cas are super-spy Angels. :)

(lol! And suddenly my mind went to a threesome b/w Dean, Anna and Cas. *shrug*)

You're right! Poor Dean. He totally had his "break-up" face on. And I also agree that Castiel is playing it up. We've seen before how sneaky he can be, how good he is at bluffing. He knows he has to keep the people upstairs convinced he's brainwashed if he's going to be able to stay on Earth and help Dean.

That's a really interesting theory you have about Zachariah. I hadn't considered that before, but you could definitely be onto something there. Heaven definitely seems to be all mixed up, and the good guys are almost as untrustworthy as the bad guys.

A Dean/Anna/Castiel threesome would much fun, indeed! :)
