It's a little eerie how similarly our tournaments went. Our scoring averages weren't as close as it says on the site because it doesn't include round 31. My defensive average was one of the worst ever.

yeah - i'll get that annotation up at some point. it was an excellent way to end the tournament against an incredible and gracious opponent.

It was great to finally play you, and I was very impressed with your game and your strategy.

I apologize if I moaned about bad tiles. I was just extremely disappointed, and that game was pretty much the nail in the coffin for any chance I had in the tourney.

do you know what I played on turn 3? i can't read it on my scoresheet. it looks like maybe BRO through an R, but that isn't available on the board unless I misplayed OIDIUM and made OIDUIM instead, which I don't think that I did. I wish I could read my writing.
