So... I had played maybe two live games since New Orleans. I didn't touch the new words until two weeks ago. And I got bronchitis. Thus, I went into BAT with less than zero expectations. Hey! It's my 100th tournament and I won it! i was flashcarding threes on the train to NYC because I seriously haven't looked at words since before BAT in May. It appears that I forgot how to play defense. I think I need to give up FB Scrabble. I don't take it seriously enough, and it makes me focus on my turns without focusing on the whole game, the rhythm of the game, and many other things that are pretty important in not sucking.
