What this world needs more of, in my rarely-humble opinion, is more Engineer Protagonists. I would settle for more Engineer Sidekicks. Not that I'm not grateful for Scotty, mind you--I am, tremendously so. But I think that fiction, speculative fiction in particular, could do with some more Engineers ( Read more... ) -

I cut myself shaving this morning so badly that someone asked me if I was aware that I was bleeding--at 10:00.
The remainder of the day was relatively bloodless, thankfully.

1. What beverages do you usually keep in your fridge?
In the upstairs fridge:
Decaf iced tea, Diet Pepsi and Diet 7-Up (or other clear soda beverage--I'm told they're pretty much all comparable), and sometimes Crystal Light Raspberry Lemonade. Oh, and usually light cranberry juice. And I think there's a bottle of Bailey's Irish ( Read more... ) -
