The lights are dimmed now but golden still, beautiful, and music echoes through the softly - the tinkles of piano keys and the gentle beauty of strings.

...there are people here, too. People you've seen and people you haven't. New arrivals? Perhaps.
(They don't acknowledge you there. They don't even lift their heads when you walk in.)
Talk to them and nothing changes. (They don't see you at all.)
There's something in the shadows, calling you without words. You can feel its eyes on your back. The doorway you just entered is gone, but across from you there's another door - one you've never seen before.
Behind it, you can hear the grinding.
