So an email informed me today that the choir I'm in will not, in fact, be singing a Gabrieli concert next month.  See, we'd been asked to do it by a local church holding its 150th (I think) anniversary, and it had been the choir's understanding that the church was footing the bill for, y'know, accompanists and setup costs and advertisements,
