We got to Chicago easily enough, and checked in, though we were too late to visit the Oriental Institute. So we walked around downtown and saw the Buckingham Fountain, where, apparently, Amy's parents first kissed. And we had supper in a local cafe. I really loved The Case for Christ. I thought it was well-written and very good at touching on those sticky theological points that we all kind of wonder about but don't really think to look up. I also love that he set out to prove Christianity wrong and oops! Ended up converted! Heehee.

Have you ever read Og Mandino's The Christ Commission. Similar, more fictionalized but also very very good.

Point of interest: one of the prizes I won at the convention was an autographed picture of Gary Jones. Considering it was free... do you want it?
