Question for everyone:
With the stolen-ness of my car, I will be shopping (and hopefully buying!) one within the next week. My question to you:
1. What are you driving right now?
2. What do you like about it?
3. What don't you like about it?
Thanks!!

Jessie has an '03 Chevy Cavalier. I'm not the biggest fan of Chevy. However this car has been reliable for the first 50K miles. Changing the oil is a pain in the ass because of GM trying to be cute with a different type of oil filter... but if you don't do it yourself that wouldn't matter.
If I were currently in the market for a car my search would begin (and likely end) with either Japan or Germany. I would seriously look at used Honda's, Toyota's and VW's.

2. a) small enough that i can park and drive without worrying about where the ends of my car are.
b) good gas mileage, in my opinion.
c) keeps going, and going, and going, and going, and going, and going. danielle has my old ('92) Saturn, and she's at about 150,000 and still going strong.
d) i've always had good luck in the snow.
*i'm sure there's more, but it's late and i can't think anymore.
3. a) the muffler strap can ONLY be bought from saturn, and costs around $35 (compared to $5 from a regular place). BUT, it should last a couple of years versus 4-6 months.
b) i haven't had to replace much, but a lot of other parts can only be ordered through Saturn, and they can be more expensive than typically.
anyway. i LOVE my car and will continue to buy saturn. so... perhaps i'm biased. but. there ya go. :)
