Djinn is my bestest of friends from way back in my Trek days as well as my betee and beta who kindly puts up with my making her read Snape/Hermione. She's a wonderful writer in multiple fandoms (I love her subversive Kirk/Chapel) and I can't tell you how thrilled I am to see her rec'd here by you. (I'd tell you my favorite stories by her--but I was planning to save that for my turn at the fangirl tour. It's broken for me, too. :( I forgot to edit this yesterday when I edited the version posted to the fangirl_tour. Sometime after I gathered the link, apparently hephastus decided to pull the story from her LJ. It's gone now, and I truly hate that. I enjoyed the story very much, and I think you would have enjoyed it, too.

It was a lovely story, and she nailed the characterizations, I think. It's a shame that it's gone.

oh my god yes! pavonis! she's on fictionalley too (under that pen name) and on skyehawke (with more stories tha non ff.net and fa even). i jsut hope that's not the only story you've read. it was the one that made me look up al lehr work and friend her on lj and then. idon't know.
augh. one day i might read more sshg. for now i'll stick to rereading. probabl ysaves time before its' my own turn. knowing me i'll end up comign home on monday and cobbling something all new together even if i've had all these links floating in my head for weeks. but yay for new good reads! thanks!

She has lots of wonderful stories, but I can't help finding The Hall of Heroes my favorite. ~grin~

Making lists and then narrowing them down to only 13 is the most nerve-wracking part of the Tour. ~nods~ There's always a temptation to just throw out the lists at the last minute and go with whatever strikes your fancy right at that moment. And that's okay. The tour is about whatever it is that we fangirl, no matter how much thought we have or haven't given it. ;)
