Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Brownilocks. She went for a drive. Pretty soon, she came upon a Starbucks. She knocked and, when the staff stared at her like she was crazy, she walked right in.
At a table in the coffee shop, there were three police officers. Brownilocks was hungry. She looked at the first policeman.
"This cop is too young!" she exclaimed (though the narrator thinks Brownilocks doth protest too much.)
So, she looked at the second police officer.
"This cop is too old," she said.
So, she looked at the last tasty officer dressed in a snug uniform, exposing the rippling man-flesh beneath.
"Ahhh, this cop is just right," she said happily and she ate him all up.
After she'd eaten, she decided she was tired and eyed the beds.

I'm glad to see that your stresseful semesters of graduate-level engineering, physics and/or mathematics courses haven't damped your zanily inane and creative side. ;D Gotta keep the left brain/right brain balance! :) I loved your Brownilocks story and it truly did make me giggle out loud!
As for the police officers, I probably would not protest much if the cop was too young, because that's certainly better than too old! *grin* Especially if the young cop has a sexy moustache, because 'staches generally make guys look older.
P.S. I didn't know that Starbucks had beds? ;) Is this somewhere in backwoods Missourah? TeeHee!!
P.P.S. You really ought to try the Dick's Burnt Almond cake! Seriously -- it is delicious! If you ever do, you might want to request the "marble" or "half & half" version (I forgot the exact term *blush*). They have two main versions of the cake: vanilla or chocolate, but you can also request one that combines them. I think it's one layer with vanilla cake and the other with chocolate. :) YUMMMMM

So you know about Dick's Burnt Almond Cake too, eh? How long ago did you first "meet" it? *giggle* We've been having it for special occasions for so long that I don't even remember!!
I did have a great time at bingo, thanks! :D I won a very good giftcard, plus I got some surprise birthday gifts! I need to blog about it SOON -- and with festive fotos, of course!! heehee
