Let's see...I agree with a lot of the NY, NCIS and SGA stuff (though I'm basing SGA on only two seasons of watching). But I agree with this the most:
5) Mac's authority issues and the slowly emerging clusterfuck that is Stella's current arc are by far the most interesting things going on in the show this season, and I am fucking puzzled and downright irritated that I haven't seen anyone talking about them in either fic or meta.
YES! There needs to be meta. Lots and lots of meta. stellaluna_ touched on part of Stella's arc in her last review but there needs to be more. And when I get off the The Mentalist fic kick that I'm on, I may actually write some fic for Stella's stuff going on right now.
Yeah, I'm really curious how the arc is going to play out, but it cannot end well. Like stellaluna- hypothesized in her review, it looks like they may be driving a wedge between Mac and Stella this season. (Well, I think she mentioned it in her reviews; it's possible we just talked about it on the phone.) All of that is painful to watch, but painful in a good way

I haven't yet seen Leverage and I haven't seen enough of NCIS to comment on the specific things you mention but!
1) Angell is not interesting.SO INCREDIBLY NOT INTERESTING. I struggled with myself for a bit there trying to convince myself I was not going the fandom entitlement place with the indications she and Flack might wind up in a relationship (just because I like imagining possible Stella/Flack places the show won't go) but this is pretty much it. If I wanted to ship Angell/Flack, I would be stonewalled by having to work up some reason to be enthusiastic about her. Also she has a Mary Sue last name. Just sayin

Angell... it's like I said, I don't dislike her by any means because I'm simply not invested enough to care one way or another. The way I see it, she's just... there

With Angell... it's not even a demand for backstory, quite. It's more intangible than that, and I wish I could pin it down. I mean, for example, we didn't know backstory details about Flack or Adam for the longest time, but I always knew exactly who they were. ...I don't know who Angell is, so I can't get invested one way or another.
I do think Lindsay had potential when she first joined the show. I said it back then, and I'll stand by it now. Granted I had a specific read on the character, and the writers didn't take her anywhere near that potential I saw. Anyway, it's sad that we've gotten to this point where I don't care for her at all. I never *want* to dislike a character.
NCIS is fun, and frankly it's all about the chemistry of the cast.
SGA can be fun, and I enjoyed lurking on the edges of the fandom, but there are just *so* many missed opportunities.
Damn stupid LJ just ate my (rather extensive) comment. I'm going to try that again.
Angell is not interesting. People think she's interesting? *boggles*
Fuck anyone who is still talking shit about Stella. Word.
If a certain comm refers to Hardison as a "hot chocolate stud" again, I am going to have to hurt somebody. *cringes* Do they really?
I don't think Gibbs is interesting. I totally understand that. Gibbs has got progressively less interesting in the later seasons. He doesn't seem to learn anything. This has been so noticable this season - especially with Ducky and Tony, who he has kept out of the loop and not expected them to be pissed with him.
I've always liked the way Michael Weatherly plays Tony - the mixture of insecurity and vulnerability, especially when he's at his most obnoxious. I'm hoping there will be some payoff with Tony s long as they don't play it for laughs or anything.
Joe Flanigan is a good actor.Yes. I agree. I like that he had thought about Sheppard and tried to subvert the tried cliche that the PTB
