Damn stupid LJ just ate my (rather extensive) comment. I'm going to try that again.
Angell is not interesting. People think she's interesting? *boggles*
Fuck anyone who is still talking shit about Stella. Word.
If a certain comm refers to Hardison as a "hot chocolate stud" again, I am going to have to hurt somebody. *cringes* Do they really?
I don't think Gibbs is interesting. I totally understand that. Gibbs has got progressively less interesting in the later seasons. He doesn't seem to learn anything. This has been so noticable this season - especially with Ducky and Tony, who he has kept out of the loop and not expected them to be pissed with him.
I've always liked the way Michael Weatherly plays Tony - the mixture of insecurity and vulnerability, especially when he's at his most obnoxious. I'm hoping there will be some payoff with Tony s long as they don't play it for laughs or anything.
Joe Flanigan is a good actor. Yes. I agree. I like that he had thought about Sheppard and tried to subvert the tried cliche that the PTB were trying so hard for. And I agree that DH never seemed to think that much about McKay and seemed to be happy to let the PTB do what they want with McKay, even if it went against what we already knew about him.
I like and agree with most, if not all (or at least parts of all) your points.
Well, Angell has a lot of fans, so I assume they find her interesting. I feel like I still don't know who she is, so I'm not invested one way or another.
Oh, the "hot chocolate stud" was a one off comment when someone was pimping the fic comm across the main comm for the show. I seriously considered giving them a piece of my mind. I love Leverage, but there is at least one very active fan over there that's getting on my nerves so much it makes me want to defriend the comm.
Like I said, I never really *noticed* what Michael Weatherly was doing until recently, largely because I've never spent a lot of brainpower watching NCIS. But in the episode that came right after the Cloak and Dagger two-part, Tony was still (rightfully) angry at how Gibbs had been jerking everyone around, and that made me stop and totally re-evaluate.
Yeah, at this point I've just stumbled upon too many people talking shit about Flanigan. I like him, and I wish we could know what might have happened if TPTB for that show... sucked less, to be blunt.
With Hewlett... on reflection I kind of want to smack him upside the head and say, dude, you are so much better than that.
