Danielle is really endearing to read just like Daniel.

Rorschach is always interesting to me with the way his personality/ beliefs are and so I enjoy reading fics like this, especially with the way he views women, sexuality, and better yet, women's sexuality.

Their relationship while it may be close, may also be tense, what, with Danielle's gender unlike Dan's, so their interaction makes it more interesting. I hope I'm making sense.

Also, excellent work. I love an author that does awkward and sexy well together in a story.

With canon!Rorschach and 63!Dan, I suspect that a het relationship could potentially be even more of a minefield than a homosexual one. So I do find it pretty interesting, yeah, in a trainwrecky sort of way. >:)

I think Rule 63 seems to raise the stakes in some ways.

HA! He really didn't like that skirt, did he? I love love love the use of perspective in this story, their assessments of each other. And Ror's disgust over sticking his fingers there... priceless!

I'm finding it hard to put it into words, but I'll try... the Rorschach you write reacts the way I expect him to, he'd be conventionally-masculine in his responses, what with all his social conditioning, he'd be fully into mars/venus distinctions. And YES AWFUL BOYFRIEND MATERIAL.

Sol, I fully agree with their 'relationship' being awkward and very likely to be fraught with all sorts of difficulties, however, I shall take a glass half full view, because, look how there's little bits of hope in your fic:

Yeah, he seems like such a big believer in social conventions and binaries, I always imagine him as macho to a fault. He's all, 'ME MAN. YOU WO-MAN. RRAAAARRL.' He could get really tiresome, really fast.

I've just reread A Small Death and thinking how much more creepy this makes Rorschach. The little indications here of his wanting to hurt her are already creepy enough, but when you add Little Death... brrr... may have to reassess fullness of glass.

Heh, after finishing this fic, I thought to myself, 'wow, it's not as creepy as I initially intended it to be... but dammit, sometimes I want to write about sex that's semi-happy.' The guy still has issues,
