“Kazuya! Yuki’s missing!”

Kazuya’s eyes widened in shock after this.

“W-What?” Kazuya stuttered after hearing the horrible news. Yamapi repeated what he said but the other denied believing it. “You’re joking, right Pi? I mean, come on, you’re not serious, are you?”

But the line suddenly was cut off.

-

“Shit, why do I have to lose my battery now?” Yamapi cursed at what happened to his cell phone and how irresponsible he felt for letting him lose sight of Yuki.

No time for that now.

“Yuki!”

Panicking, Yamapi ran around the streets looking for Jin’s…and for now Kazuya’s son.

-

“What happened, Kame?” Ueda asked as he shook his friend whose eyes are still in shock after hearing what happened.

“Tat-chan…Yuki…is missing…” Kazuya said above whisper that Ueda had to strain to hear him.

“What? Where? How did he get lost? I thought Yamapi was with him?” Ueda asked unbelievingly. Kazuya looked at him. “I’m not sure what happened. Pi’s call got cut off. I don’t know how it happened,” He said.

“Come on, let’s go tell the Ryo and Jin,” Ueda said and dragged both of them out of the men’s room and went to their table.

“Jin! Yuki’s missing. Pi just called Kazuya about it and now we don’t know what’s going on,” Ueda said when they got back. This made Ryo and Jin jump out of their seats. “What! How could that be? I thought Pi was with him all this time!” Jin practically yelled and almost everyone in the restaurant looked at them but he didn’t care less about it.

Kazuya bit his lip not knowing what to do. He was never in a situation like this before. Because well, he never experienced someone who considers his son because he was considered as a mother get lost in a street full of people in the afternoon close to being called a night.

“I thought that as well!” Ueda said. “Crap this,” Jin said as he shot out his cell phone and tried calling his friend.

The number you dialed is either unattended or out of coverage area. Please try again.

The same operator message was what they got after calling Yamapi’s cell phone again and again.

“Does Pi know where we are?” Ryo asked. But Kazuya managed to shake his head. “We never told him where we are, right?” He said. “Damn. Well, why don’t we go look for both of them now?” Ryo said and everyone nodded.

After leaving the restaurant, they split up after having a deal of calling each other once either or both of them are found.

-

“Ne Yuki, I saw a really great robot and I wanted to show you that. Would you like that?” Yamapi smiled as he looked down at the younger one holding his hand. The latter, however, just looked down and nodded.

“Hey tell me, why did you pick Kazu-chan as your mommy? Does she really look like your mother?” Yamapi asked, trying to start a conversation as they walked towards their supposed destination.

Yuki just looked up at him with big eyes that are slightly sparkling with anger and said, “She’s really my mommy. Mommy is always like that to me. She doesn’t get angry at me easily and likes to have fun with others.” Yamapi chuckled at this and shook his head. “Hasn’t anybody told you that she’s not your real mother?” He asked but Yuki just glared harder and they stopped walking because he did.

“Many did but she’s still my mother no matter what others say, Uncle Pi.” Yuki said coldly to the older man.

“But Yuki-kun, someday you have to accept that. You should know that Kazu-chan’s really a guy,” Yamapi encouraged but this just made Yuki form tears in his eyes.

“You’re mean, Uncle Pi! You shouldn’t say that! You’re so rude! I hate you!” Yuki let go of his hand and kicked Yamapi behind his knees and ran off.

“Yuki!”

Yamapi ran and ran around the streets of Shibuya just so he could find Yuki. It was his fault he ran off in the first place. He doesn’t really have any grudge against the kid, it was just part of him and he bet that it finally hit the kid’s nerves. He was just playing around damnit!

But now he’s paying the price.

He’s responsible of that kid.

And he has to find him.

How could he be so stupid just to let that kid run off by himself? And now he just proved himself to be really useful again because he forgot to charge his cell phone before leaving his apartment.

Damn.

He just hopes that nothing bad happened to Yuki. Or he’ll never forgive himself for being so irresponsible.

-

The group split up into pairs: Kazuya and Jin, Ryo and Ueda. While running, Jin took out his cell phone and find help as much as he can from those people who work under him and had been really good friends with him.

“Hello? Maru? It’s me, listen. I need your help. Yuki’s missing here in Shibuya. Help me find him now!” Jin yelled from his cell phone and Kazuya heard the other line say something line, “Okay then. I’ll also ask help from other people. We’ll be there, Akanishi-san.” and hung up.

Kazuya was surprised as they turned to another street when Jin even contacted the police.

“Yes, hello? Listen, my child has been missing here in Shibuya and I need you guys to help me find him. NOW!” Jin said.

“How long has he been missing, sir?” The other line asked calmly.

“For more than an hour,” Jin said panicked.

“I’m sorry sir, but we can only search for him if the kid has already been missing for more than 24 hours,” Jin felt his blood ran cold after hearing this.

“Are you kidding me? What kind of police are you! You should know that this is Akanishi Jin and you’re even lucky that I’m not there to strangle you for being so useless!” Jin yelled and he didn’t care when people looked at him for what he just said.

“A-Akanishi-san, I…I’m really sorry for that sir. Yes, we’ll make sure to send some teams to find your son, sir. We’re really sorry again,” The person from the other line stuttered after hearing who he was talking to.

“You better!” Jin gave a final yell before hanging up on the useless police jerk, he thinks.

Kazuya stared at what just happened.

Wow. The Akanishi family has THAT kind of power? They can even control the police? I’m amazed.

They continued looking for the missing child and asked a lot of people about him.

-

The 4 of them met up again at some place in Shibuya. Jin and Kazuya weren’t able to find anything but the Ryoda pair managed to get Yamapi from their search. Yamapi was heaving breathily when they finally stopped. Jin’s eyes turned dark with emotions when he saw Yamapi in front of him. When the latter stood up, he was taken off guard when Jin suddenly hit his face with his fist.

The other 3 gasped at what they just witnessed.

When Yamapi looked up again from the ground, Jin launched on him again and grabbed fistful of the other’s shirt.

“You idiot! Why the hell did you let my son run off like that! The kid’s 5 years old, for heaven’s sake! If something happens to him, you’ll never see daylight again!” Jin swore in front of Yamapi’s face and hit him the second time.

“Jin, that’s enough!” Kazuya exclaimed and he suddenly pulled Yamapi away from Jin while Ryo and Ueda tried to pull Jin away from their friend.

“Let go…of me! That bastard’s gotta learn his lesson!” Jin struggled out of Ryo and Ueda’s hold but the two just held him tighter. Yamapi, however, just looked down and whispered, “Kazuya, let go of me. I deserve it anyways,” Kazuya’s eyes widened at this and just glared at Jin.

“Why, Jin?! Is Yuki going to show up when you beat the hell out of Pi?! Huh? You’ve hit him twice, that’s more than enough!” Kazuya yelled and none of them paid attention to the crowd they managed to get.

“I don’t care! My son’s missing and it’s because of that big idiot who can’t keep his mouth shut!” Jin yelled back but Kazuya wouldn’t give up and held Yamapi closer to him.

“We’re just wasting our time like this, Jin. Just let go of Pi and look for Yuki again.” Kazuya threw back at Jin glaringly and still wouldn’t let his friend go.

“Stay out of this, Kamenashi! You have no idea what it feels like to lose your son in the middle of somewhere where lots of people always go to!”

“Yuki’s been my son ever since he called me his mother, Jin!” Kazuya spat back unconsciously and everyone stared back at him seemingly surprised. “You may say that it’s hard for a parent to lose his child and I may have not experienced that but…but I’ve experienced the way Yuki felt of being alone somewhere not knowing where to go! That was one of the important reasons I’ve agreed to this in the first place! I don’t want Yuki to grow up not having a mother by his side like I did!” He added and was pleased that Jin calmed down a good deal after hearing what he just said.

At the same time, Ryo and Ueda finally let go of the before-steaming Jin after he calmed down. Kazuya also let go of Yamapi after all that drama.

What he said was true though. When the time came that Yuki said that he was his mother, he felt that he was destined to be his mother really. And because of that, he wanted the child not to get disappointed of living a life without someone looking after or loving him like a mother would. Jin would be really busy, he knew that but he saw how Jin would really give time for his son after his wife died. And since he was a good friend, he wanted to help at least a little for the Akanishi family knowing all the things Jin has done for him in the past that are still yet to be given back.

“Darn it…” Kazuya silently cursed as he wiped the tears that unconsciously fell while he was giving his heart out. Ueda understood this situation. Kazuya was his friend longer than Jin had because they had bonded throughout the years even after graduation. He knew that the younger one never wanted to always remember his past, he always goes to an emotional breakdown every time he does and he never want to humiliate himself in front of many people because he wanted to show people that he was strong.

Jin sighed and following what his body is unconsciously doing, he walked straight towards Kazuya and held him in a loving embrace. He slowly smiled when he felt the other slowly wrap his arms around his waist while crying.

“You’re still a drama queen, Kazu. You never change,” Jin softly whispered.

“And you’re still a great big idiot bastard who is so selfish and full of himself,” Kazuya whispered back.

While all this was going on, Ryo and Yamapi were grinning widely while Ueda just looked at them both. “What’s wrong with you, guys?” He asked, raising a brow.

“Akame is coming back, Tat-chan!” Yamapi replied, still grinning while they were all taking in of the lovey-dovey scene in front of them.

Ryo nodded in agreement and all he got was a quick hit in the head from his lover.

“You guys are idiots, indeed. It’s their private moment so give it a rest you guys,” Ueda sighed.

“Ouch, why’d you hit only me?” Ryo whined. “Because you’re so stupid to get along with Pi,” Ueda replied.

“Ne Tat-chan, what private moment are you saying? I think almost everyone in this side of the street is looking at our lovely couple here,” Yamapi pointed out and Ueda blinked.

When he looked around, many people are really staring at them like crazy. Ueda sweatdropped at this and said, “I think it’s time that we stop these two now,” And the other two just nodded with him.

Right on cue, the ones Jin called earlier arrived making the latter suddenly pull his embrace out and was blushing madly while Kazuya just stared at the number of police and other people who Jin called.

“Akanishi-san, we’re ready to help look for your son,” Maru greeted and bowed as well as the others. The police were there as well and the civilians just looked and then walked away thinking that Jin and Yamapi would get arrested for creating such chaos.

Jin finally regained his composure and looked at them in a straight face. “Good, I want each of you to go in pairs or groups and look for my missing son,”

“Yes!” Everybody said and they scattered in teams to go look for Yuki.

After everybody left, Ryo, Ueda, Yamapi and Kazuya stared at Jin in shock and astonishment. After making sure that everyone is doing their job, Jin’s serious face fell and turned in to the goofy one as he looked back at his friends.

“Eh? What are you guys staring at?” Jin blinked at them and tilted his head at the side.

“N-Nothing,” the rest of them chorused.

“Okay, now, let’s continue looking for Yuki!” Jin announced and they all nodded.

-

Four hours already passed and no one still has seen Yuki. Kazuya was still panicking inside while Jin tried to keep his senses and continue looking. He didn’t let anyone go home until his son has been found.

The others were getting hungry but they tried hard to ignore that feeling and keep on looking for Yuki.

After another 30 minutes of searching, the five of them sat back down on a bench and breathed heavily. They were really getting tired but they were still determined to look for the missing kid. Ueda drank a bottle of water then leaned on Ryo while panting.

“I never thought that taking care of a kid would be this tough,” Ryo exclaimed as he also drank a bottle of water.

“You said it,” Jin said.

After another few minutes, Kazuya eagerly stood up. “Let’s try again, shall we?” He said and tried to grin to help himself still be positive in this time. He ran but after a few shorts steps, he was surprised to see the one they were looking for.

…on the back of someone.

“Yuki…” Kazuya whispered and everyone else stood up at once after the sound of Jin’s son’s name being called.

There, walking under street lights was a tall guy carrying a little boy on his back. When the face of the guy suddenly passed through the streetlight, the one who got Yuki suddenly became clear to them.

“Taguchi…kun?”
