I don't want to curse myself just yet, but I believe I may not have fared so awfully as I'd anticipated on yesterday's "Far Eastern Art" exam. We were shown and asked to identify and discuss ten slides, and I only drew a blank in regards to one. Even that one was recognizable as a relic from the Yuan Dynasty. Yes, it's true...yet another test is set to rear its ugly little head in my "Intro to Far Eastern Art" class tomorrow. I've memorized most of what I need to in reference to the painting, sculpture, and ceramics of China, Japan, Nepal and Tibet (along with just a pinch o' India for flavor) between the 8th and 15th centuries.
