Chuuu! It was an adventure, Red-chu! The chus that live by the Power Plant go into an old mine shaft around the Rock Tunnel for Thunderstones, but the Sandshrews wanted to live in it instead so they chased the chus out, so when I was going by the asked for help. That was their present for me! I almost said no but I thought and thought, and then I made up my mind. Being a Raichu isn't a bad thing, being a Raichu is just the next adventure!

Did I do good, Red-chu? I wanted to tell you before I took it, but you were already in this far-place, so I thought, "Red-chu will be happy no matter what chu I am," and I took it.

Mac curiously looked at the big rat. He looked like he was trying to be welcoming. Then he put on his friendliest face and waved at him.]

Hahaha! Well, I guess you can say I live here right now cuz of school n' stuff. But my real home's in a city far away from here. You're probably from far away too huh, pal?

Very, very far! Across an ocean! Too far for anychu to swim. I fought a Gyarados that was trying to eat some Mantykes, and their mother was so happy that she carried me on her back! I don't know how to get where I'm going next, or where that place will be, but it's going to be new, too. The reason the world is so big is so that we never run out of places to go.
