Back from Peru
Photos are up at Flickr. We had a great time - 2 weeks vacation! The city of Arequipa was pretty and Colca Canyon was huge - the condors are the main tourist attraction there, but we liked the canyon just as well. I'm watching UK put the finishing touches on beating Arkansas. I figured Kentucky wouldn't be too bad this year, but I had no idea they'd be top 20 material. I'm just worried about the injuries in this game. Housewarmed
Eve and Aaron threw a bad-ass housewarming party last night: hot tub, hamburgers, lots of beer, Jello shots, Guitar Hero, and a puppy. What could be better? I'm especially excited that they received a block of knives as a present. Discovery store
Last night, while we were at the mall, Abbie and I stopped by the Discovery channel store. I had recently read that all their stores were going out of business and, sure enough, there was a big sale on everything. We both love science-based toys, so we browse the kids' section. Abbie's birthday
