Had an interesting bit of insight last night as I sat on the train home laying out some scratchings and scripts for a weekly webcomic. Once you've got a format established (page size, panel layout, etc) the writing gets built into that structure... very similarly to how you would structure a Fast Fiction piece ( Read more... )

After watching last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy, I had the following words bouncing around my head. I started writing them out as a Fast Fiction piece, but then realized I wasn't writing a story as much as sharing a sentiment.
