I know! I'm so excited, because the new ones focus on Damon, and he's my favourite character. Loveeee him.

I heard about that but I haven't read the book series. I always see it when I shelve. Because I shelve the Young Adult/Teen section.

Ohhh, I love them. It isn't her best series, I admit. The Forbidden Game is by far her best yet. And the Night World series is pretty good, too. I think I like the CD because of Damon. He makes the books more fascinating, and the fact that the next series of books will focus on him makes it even better.

Dunno who Damon is.haha. So I can't agree or disagree. My co-worker read no. 1 of Night world and she was like it's just a brunch of 3 books/stories in one book. So she told me it didn't matter which number Night World book(s) I read.

But I have yet to read ANYTHING by L.J Smith.

Damon is the bad-boy character in the Vampire Diaries. He's pretty awesome :D

Yeah, they have started to bunch the Night World novels together. Each one is separate story on it's own, about supernatural creatures called Night Worlders finding their soulmates. In this case, Smith uses the concept of soulmates quite literally, with people finding themselves bonded to people they may not know or even like. But there's also a larger story arch that runs throughout the books, regarding the Wild Powers and the upcoming battle between good and evil. Very YA, but I started reading them as a kid and I still love them.

If you do want to start reading Smith, though, I highly recommend you start with The Forbidden Game. It's still YA, but it's a great trilogy, easy to read and get lost in. I remember reading this and being so in love with some of the characters, especially the main guy, and being genuinely shocked by some of the things that happened in the books. Now they don't shock me, but that age, they did.

I KNOW.

Yeah, she's writing another VD series, focusing on Damon, which is AWESOME. I FRICKIN' LOVE DAMON.

Omgz, I hope this doesn't end up getting shelved or canned within the first few episodes. These kinds of shows always have a 50/50 chance of surviving, which blowssss.

KFHSDJHS LIKE THAT ADORABLE SHOW WITH PENN PADGLEY AND MILO VENTIMIGLIA BOTH ON IT )8 the bedford diaries sob ♥ it got canceled after EIGHT EPISODES because that was when the WB and UPN were combining into the CW and they were dropping shows.

Oh my Goddddddd, I hope they don't mess up the casting. This is what I HATE about falling for characters in books. Sometimes the movies or TV just screw everything up. There also going to have to be really careful with Elena, because I find her to be somewhat annoying in the books, so if they really want to keep viewers watching, they're gonna have to address that.

But OMGZ I WANT DAMON/BONNIE MOMENTS, LIKE, RIGHT NOW. GAH.
