I'm 10 weeks pregnant and my husband has been sick the last week or so. Neither of us felt like doing a big tree, so we found the below, a 4.5ft. tree, at Walgreens. Since it was the display and the last in stock, the manager sold it to us mostly decorated, too. It came with the red and gold bulbs, we added our own, special ornaments and called it a day.

For something cheap & festive, we put bows on all of the pictures in our home.

Oh wow, I must show the kitty claws to my boyfriend. We're going to get a cat or two in the near-ish future and we're planning on capping their claws, too. Haha, I'd love to see them with fashionable nails. X3

We love the simple and cheap decorations best. Cranberries and dried oranges, paper snow flakes, and freshly cut cedar. That, and a few bobbles, candles and thrifted wreaths. Eventually, we'll get around to making popcorn and cranberry strings as well.

Thank you! It was super easy to do. It would be a fun classroom activity to do with kids or teenagers I think. I know I had fun cutting them out! ;-)
