I can't comprehend this sentence. It boggles me. Anyone care to give it a try? Something about being honest with your feelings and not being able to concentrate on the battlefield without embracing someone just once? Help!

Reading quasi-legal online translations of Juuni Kokki, came across this: 龍陽の寵. So... is this a real term, or did she just make it up? And how would you translate it? "Imperial patronage, wink wink nudge nudge?"

Whether or not I get an answer, the fact that this issue was adressed makes me very happy.
