Did you know it is legal for private citizens to own tigers in Texas? Thanks to this rule there are over 4,000 tigers presently living in Texas, add this to the zoo populations in the rest of the U.S. and we have more tigers than Asia. Crazy eh?

How long do you think it will take before Airplane travel becomes rational again? This summer has been strange. I have been so busy doing things and going places, that I seem to always be behind on the routines. I can never find the time for hobbies, or projects. When I was in sixth grade the first hour after lunch was dedicated to silent reading. Everyone in class had to read quietly while the teacher graded papers and did other such work. You were allowed to read whatever you wanted though, as long as it was a book (no comics, magazines, newspapers, etc.). I liked silent reading a lot because I read a lot ( Read more... )

I decided today that since the metric system works so great for everything else, someone should invent a metric system for time. I also decided that someone might as well be me.
