After a little more than a year of roaming, I once again live in a basement. I am happy for this return, especially since this is the nicest basement I have ever lived in (Read: will be once it's all set up.) Once again I can stay in bed all afternoon and not be woken by the sun ( Read more... )

I saw a centipede for the first time last week. On my wall in the middle of the night. It died in epic fashion.

An old roommate had built a rubber band launching rifle for the specific purpose of killing centipedes. A direct hit caused them to explode into pieces too small to see. There wasn't even a mess.

ugg... i hate centipedes. they gross me out. sorry for all the downsides, but Wh00ts for all the upsides!
