I beat the dentist today. He walked in with low expectations when he heard I hadn't seen a dentist in 16+ years, and left saying he was mildly disappointed, because he wanted more cavities and badness.

hmmm, i might have found an app for my droid that will let me post to the good ol lj. i cant do anything fancy like change my mood, my pic, what im listening to, tags, etc etc, but i never really do that anyway.

it will be weird tapping out a full post, if i ever do.

at least i dont have to boot up the browser to post on the go now.

Guess how much Igot accomplished today? NOTHING! Today I got 3 hours of sleep before I went to Des Moines to help my parents go through and pack up my grandparent place since they got moved into a home. I have read the first chapter of php 5 for dummies.... I won't argue, it was free. I know php 6 exists, but learning php 5 won't hurt, since I'm sure not a lot has changed between that and php 6. Nothing dramatic ever really changes in this crap anyway. Photoshop cs was only barely different from cs 2 and so on.So fuck it, I'm using it.

I have officially gotten 2 free pdf php books and am currently looking over a set of 3 beginner friendly php books on amazon that come in a bundle, all of them are well recieved. I am also looking at a few more books from another company... I need to trim down what books I want, cause right now I am well into the $200 area on books. Yikes ( Read more... )
