i'm not "into tv"
we have directv - the only way to do it on our island and 2 channels of Maryland Public Television
i may or may not watch local and network news
catch a rebroadcast of Colbert
check out rebroadcast of Charlie Rose
check MSNBC - Chris Hayes and Rachel Maddow
check out CSPAN

Our MPTV is erratic - the programing keeps changing - I'll check to see what's on
Check HBO

The only regulars are Bill Maher some night
Project Runway if it's on
depending on my mood a collection - Doc Martin - Death In Paradise - The Mentalist - Elementary
and always if our MPT has it - Morse or Lewis

Most nights I'm done with tv by 10 pm and go to my own interests
i'm a night owl and never abed before midnight

How strange, Kern. I don't watch ANY of the programs you mention.. I know that they're there but that's about it.
Strqngely (for me) I've avoided the Daily Show (and the Colbert Report as well). I have always found Stewart
predictable and there no real artfujl comedy in what de does. I love The Good Wife.. Murdered Will lives around
the corner from me and goes to my gym. He tells me he's fine.
More later.. In the meantime watch The Bletchly File on PBS..
Love

You're so lucky living where you do. I wish I could convince Seth to visit or live in Manhattan. I'd love to spend a month there in the summer and see the things you see.

Of course the writing in the later seasons bugged you. You're a man of taste and discrimination.. We had to suspend all
disbelief to... hang in there. But most of us did, including you
Next week Kukla, Fran and Ollie.. Are you with me?
Much love

Queer As Folk will always be my #1 all-time favorite show. : ) Admittedly, I haven't watched my DVDs in quite some time, but I'll always love the gang and Brian especially will always have a place in my heart. I still love Brian and Justin as a couple, but now it's only for the first three seasons of the show. I just didn't like the way they wrote Justin in season four and five. I'm sad to say that by the time Queer As Folk ended, he had become one of my least favorite characters. : (

My new favorite show is Once Upon a Time on ABC. : ) Season three just ended and I'm anxiously waiting for a release date on the season three DVDs. I also just finished watching a series called Roswell on DVD because Emilie de Ravin (who plays Belle/Lacey on Once Upon a Time) plays Tess Harding in it. I know at thirty I'm probably considered far too old for the show (the characters are in high school) but regardless, I still really liked her character ( ... )

I think when we talked I told you I was never in the QaF fandom. I did watch some of the episodes online.

Shows I am watching....well I do enjoy "the Good Wife" and "Call The Midwife" that I find very interesting as I was a midwife is a similar area about fifteen years after the period in which the show is set.

"Law and Order SVU" is one I hate to miss and I did like "Scandal" it will depend what they do with it next season, whether or not I keep watching. I also watch "Masterpiece Theater"

I mainly read on my Kindle, it is the easiest now on my eyes, sometimes on my tablet. I've been reading a variety
of books recently, and at present, am on another pandemic type.

Hugs
Liz.
