Today was lovely - we went to the village pub for lunch then afterwards went up to the "Big House" to gawp like a couple of yokels at the lovely grounds and daffodils.  Village life it is great!

Cos all the cool kids are doing it and actually its probably pretty close (one day I'll manage a proper update honest)

This evening was good.  it was really nice to get out sans small person who stayed home with his daddy.  Many thanks to Claire and Alex for coming to see the Duchess with me.  It was not a frothy costume drama but quite a gritty historical account - well worth going to see.  If you don't enjoy the storyline you'll love the costume and settings ( Read more... )
