another day another dollar
Been to the bottom and back up. Nothing like a power outage to reset your default mode. A good chat with a hobbit. A Bollywood movie. Modified an icon to use for my rtf files.
It's so C-O-L-D in here. They boys have the AC cranked up, and the basement is chillay.

Can I get a do-over for this one? I had a bad day. mr. blankety blank yelled at me. He thinks I'm not nailing the tenants to the wall with big enough nails. And of course I had a paranoia attack thinking he would get me fired. And also, upset that I still can't anticipate these pitfalls. what a day
pretty damn tired. Worn out. Exhausting day. Did I get blind-sided? or just left holding the bag? I was played, somehow.
got a pizza, and apple pies. I think this qualifies as a binge. Ate a sensible lunch though - pasta brought from home.
Alien is on. It's so easy to just sit back and watch it -- again.

not exactly a day
Had gone to bed - when - don't remember 4:00 maybe. Awakened by sis at the front door. and wired she was. Made pancakes and listened. Cleaned kitchen. Crashed again. And suddenly it's 6:00pm. So, had some of the own-made pasta, roll, cup of tea. Washed dishes. Emptied dish washer. Can't find anything on TV that is capturing my attention ( Read more... ) -

Calling it 'today' is a blatant euphemism. Arose @ 12 PM. Something was on TV. (?) News about volcano in Galapagos, so spent a while on satellite photos of the islands. Great crater views- you have to go down to the closer views to get past the cloud cover.
Then food. Oatmeal with BRAN added. Juice. How healthy. Finally made the pasta to go ( Read more... ) -

Today in the news: The courts want to reunite the mothers from the religious 'cult' in Texas with their children. I think they should let the little kids go back -- they should not have been separated from their mothers in the first place. But the girls over 12 -- no way.
