Today in the news:   The courts want to reunite the mothers from the religious 'cult' in Texas with their children. I think they should let the little kids go back -- they should not have been separated from their mothers in the first place.  But the girls over 12 -- no way.  Can't put them at risk. <> Another crane crash in NYC.  Ok now, everyone say, 'inspectors being bribed...'

• Minutiae -- rec'd health newsletter about anger -- blame the victim/angry person.  Need to comment on that sometime.

• Law & Order:  Another sperm bank doctor proliferating his own sperm to the tune of dozens of children.  And, highlight on the use of the web for sperm donor children to find their sibs & parents.  Boy, sorry Mom & Dad, this won't be a secret anymore -- it's a whole new world.
  

• words -- I wish there was a thesaurus here, I must have the precise word!

• the boys:  dishes still in the sink from Monday.  Landlord will be coming by to pick up rent checks.  He'll flip - fears an influx of cockroaches.  Well, it's not my job to protect the boys, or train them either.  Repeat this mantra:  "affordable apt. with your own suite, your own bath, washer/dryer, plenty of storage, parking space, 5 minutes from work. >>  "If you ignore them, you can cope..."
  

• Work:  HVAC pandemonium; ant duty; drafted a letter that was worthy of an attorney; went out on a limb and made a decision and didn't get fired -- yippee!!;  found out my boss has a Bentley in addition to the SUV; hassled tenants who haven't paid their May rent -- Mohi was pleased, I've finally learned to  be mean like him :-(  . Repeat after me, 'job security, health insurance..."

• Self-observation:  I did that thing today -- telling someone the end of the information, and leaving out the beginning piece that explains why I made the decision I did.   I have to watch that, it confuses people and I think it makes me look ditzy.

• Chicken Invaders:  crashed and burned in the meteor shower for the umpteenth time.  what a mean-spirited game!!! grrrrrrr

• Satellite maps:  Looked for Acre province of Brazil where an indigenous tribe live who haven't been exposed to cable TV and chicken mcnuggets;  looked for Tortuga while watching Pirates of the Carribean; there are 7000 islands in the Carribean;! took a look at the runway in Tegucigalpa where there was a plane crash today -- it's one of the shortest of international runways.

• I can see I'm not going to like this bullet thing.  I think LJ may not be able to meet my formatting requirements.
