Episode Notes: Starsky & Hutch "Pilot"

New show, new fandom, first episode of a whole new series!

Well, okay, new in a very broad sense of term. :)

I remember clearly watching Starsky & Hutch with my mother when I was little kid. I was seven when the show started airing. At age seven my favorite part of the show was them putting the flashing light on top of the car when they were in ( Read more... )

I love that you're getting sucked into S&H! Wait until you see some of the all-time slashiest eps, like The Fix and Coffin for Starsky. You'll be screencapping your heart out! :)

I saw both of those a few years ago (the very few episodes I've seen as an adult included them) and *loved* them, but didn't get caught right away. :)

I can imagine I will be screencapping like *crazy* on those two eps. :)

Yum! I'm old enough to remember watching the first several seasons in first-run before I went off to college.

I put season 1 of S&H in my Netflix list, but haven't watched them yet. But ... how many fandoms can you (and I) juggle?

If I get myself into due South like I want (desperately) to, I'll be at four, and I think that's *seriously* enough!!

Maybe even more than enough.

Oh God, Ray K!
And I love Alias Smith & Jones, Pete Duel is just incredibly charismatic.

Well, later today, you'll see the same sort of episode notes for the pilot of due South. :)

Ray K's hot as hell!! But I am amazingly in love with Fraser in the pilot.

I definitely have *always* loved male buddy relationships and hated girlfriends or others that might come between them. I just didn't realize I could take the next step and actually have them in *love* with each other until embarrasisngly old (about 35).

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was Gilligan's Island slash. :)

More people watching S&H. Yay!!!

There is Gilligan's Island slash. I read it. Unreal, just ... I'm speechless.

Good Lord! The mind boggles.

Though I've read some Hogan's Heroes slash--dark, gritty rape-recovery story too--which just boggled my mind.

Links please??

Hey, have you read the SH-TS crossover by Candy Apple in which Starsky turns out to be Blair's father? I think I want to re-read it now...

Yeah, I have read (and loved) the whole series and I've been tempted to re-read it *all* day long! :)

*sighs happily* Oh man, I'm loving this show (and this experiment) WAY more than I actually thought I would. I figued I'd be all, okay, yeah I see the slash...cool car, decent guys, fun fun fun...

But I REALLY LIKE the show! It's good, and the guys are better characters than I expected for some reason. By the time we got done with this ep, I was totally hooked, and FOR REAL.

We have to do another one SOON!!!

(And I loved the .gif of the shower scene, I was too focused on looking at his ass, that I'd missed that little glimpse!

*nodsnodsnods*

When's a good time? :)

(The episode notes go better, I find, if I've seen the episode before. So it's nice to keep the watching a bit ahead of the notes.)

I *really* am enjoying S&H!

No kidding!! I'm bummed we missed it. :D

Things are slowing down, thank god, so...Tuesdays still work pretty good (earlier better than later this week as House has gotten really good) Or Wednesday, or probably Friday.

No kidding!! I'm bummed we missed it. :D

We're just going to have to watch harder...

Tuesday (tonight), I'm going to try to force myself to bed early and I have some stuff I've got to do (like LMFA vote counting).

Can we make a date for tomorrow maybe? Or Friday (though I'd like to be free for Numb3rs at 10 (my time)).
